Sleep is your Superpower
Out of all the things that you can do to improve your health, getting a good night’s sleep is arguably the most important. I am by no means a doctor or a researcher but I wanted to write this post as a reminder to myself to take sleep seriously, here are some of the positive things I have noticed on myself when I get enough sleep:
- I feel happier when I get enough sleep and enjoy myself much more
- I am more productive and make better decisions
- My willpower is stronger and I can resist urges and temptations
- I perform better at the gym
- My skin looks better and the dark circles under my eyes look better
- My brain fires on all cylinders and I can learn new material faster
There are plenty of other benefits but these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
