Morning Routine
Over the last couple of months I abandoned my morning routine and just check my phone first thing in the morning. It makes me anxious, worried and sometimes I procrastinate for hours on end. Having a simple morning routine signals the start of the day and helps me hit the ground running. In the past, I used to have long elaborate morning routines which were sometimes overwhelming. To ease myself back into it, I plan to do the following first thing in the morning:
- Shower
- Meditate for 10 mins
- Journal for 5 mins
The plan is to become consistent at doing these 3 things first thing in the morning before adding more.
