A while ago I listened to a podcast called Thinking Backwards with Jawad and at the end of the episode the guest asked the audience to answer this questions for themselves; What is my best possible future? I spent some time pondering the question and came up with this list:

  • I live wherever i want
  • I am not worried about money, its available to me in abundance and I can take time off whenever I want for however long I want and still be making money
  • I exercise daily
  • I spend lots of time in nature
  • I meditate daily
  • I regularly read and journal
  • I publish my thoughts to an online blog and share my knowledge with people
  • I consistently get 9 hours of sleep and eat a healthy balanced diet
  • I am content with what I have and my blessings, I don’t compare myself to others. Just myself.
  • I am a minimalist, I don’t own random stuff. I buy high quality items when i need them and just take care of them
  • I think deeply about hard problems and build solutions to them
  • I am surrounded by people who love, respect me and push me to be a better person
  • I don’t consume trashy media
  • I am in control of my time and spend it wisely
  • I can deal with setbacks and problems as they arise
  • I am close with my family and especially my brothers
  • I am married to a beautiful girl who is my best friend and complements me

I throughly enjoyed thinking about this question and plan to use it as a North Star to determine what passions and projects to pursue.
