What Is My Best Possible Future?
A while ago I listened to a podcast called Thinking Backwards with Jawad and at the end of the episode the guest asked the audience to answer this questions for themselves; What is my best possible future? I spent some time pondering the question and came up with this list:
- I live wherever i want
- I am not worried about money, its available to me in abundance and I can take time off whenever I want for however long I want and still be making money
- I exercise daily
- I spend lots of time in nature
- I meditate daily
- I regularly read and journal
- I publish my thoughts to an online blog and share my knowledge with people
- I consistently get 9 hours of sleep and eat a healthy balanced diet
- I am content with what I have and my blessings, I don’t compare myself to others. Just myself.
- I am a minimalist, I don’t own random stuff. I buy high quality items when i need them and just take care of them
- I think deeply about hard problems and build solutions to them
- I am surrounded by people who love, respect me and push me to be a better person
- I don’t consume trashy media
- I am in control of my time and spend it wisely
- I can deal with setbacks and problems as they arise
- I am close with my family and especially my brothers
- I am married to a beautiful girl who is my best friend and complements me
I throughly enjoyed thinking about this question and plan to use it as a North Star to determine what passions and projects to pursue.
